The programme includes a wide range of activities: public sessions open to the broader community, technical workshops, and institutional meetings to coordinate future actions. Topics will cover the involvement of young heritage professionals, the opportunities arising from the integration of E-RIHS services and resources, and the infrastructure’s contribution to strategic European initiatives such as the European Cultural Heritage Cloud. A special moment will be dedicated to Prof. Antonio Sgamellotti (1939–2025), whose scientific and cultural legacy continues to inspire and guide the work of heritage scientists.
“The Open Days are an important step in the life of E-RIHS ERIC,” said Vania Virgili, Director General of E-RIHS. “They offer a concrete occasion to share our work, strengthen collaborations, and highlight the contribution of heritage science to society.”
