Dr. Viorel Braic , head of Resesrach Center for Advanced Surface Processing and Analysis by Vacuum Technologies, was recently distinguished with Diploma of Honor and The Institute of Atomic Physics Medal for outstanding scientific contributions to the development of vacuum-based technologies, plasma mass spectrometry with applications in ionic nitriding and thin film deposition.
As a token of high appreciation of the entire research activity, the coordination of the ReCAST department and the training of young specialists within the National Institute for Optoelectronics.
